Maritime Blue Economy strategies : a booster for stakeholders engagement

Description:
The pitch will point out the importance of national and regional stakeholder’s engagement to be supported at all levels and in a consistent approach for the development of a sustainable blue economy.
It will emphasize the role of the assistance mechanism funded by the EU:
- with the national hubs to support project development (national hubs missions and roadmap);
- with the engagement of the maritime clusters in the hubs but also beyond to develop innovation and entrepreneurship with regional actors;
- to develop networks between EU Member States with existing organisations (community of blue economy practices)
- to develop synergies from one sea basin to another to engage in the cooperation by sharing good practices and ideas
